haha ok well since i got so many comments asking me to write ( ... lol like one maybe? ) i geuss ill give ya some goodness!
Not a whole lot going on right now... start of the new tri... nervous but excited, its like the first day of school all over again, but its like a new start, clean slate. I can take thsi tri and do whatever i want with it...
Ive been going to this Women Writing for a Change thing downtown... i go with a lot of other young women writers and just relax... me and my pen and paper. I never really realized how passionate i was about writing... not just writing poems but songs and stories and my life... in a way its helping me find myself, who I am, stringing together feelings and thoughts and moments and memories and finding who i am and who i want to be. I think everyone needs to have something that they love.
heres a peice that im working on... i might actually get to read it on the radio which is just.. SO awesome..
You see them in the magazines
and walking down the runway
you wish that you could look like them
maybe,maybe someday
you too would be flawless
and have that perfect life
You heart would be whole
and not split by a cold knife
that knife of imperfection
That makes your body bleed
You think you know, and wish you had
what you THINK you need
That always perfect body,
slim with many curves
Youd be charming and funny
with brains and wit and nerves
You're eyes would be amazing
With a smile just to match
But you your'self werent born
As a part of that batch
That batch of perfect people
Who have life so easily
But what you must remmember
... is that there's more than what you SEE
... i geuss i mostly just wrote that because i feel like young girls and women now have to constantly compare themselves to these models and actresses on TV and in Magazines and everywhere in the media, that have IMPOSSIBLE standards, the new symbol for American Beauty is something that NO normal woman could ever acheive. God made each of us the way we are... and He LO VES us that way, fat OR skinny, it doesnt MATTER we are all made in His IMAGE and to me that is just something that blows my mind and makes looking in the mirror a lot easier
